Twilight Aged Care is a leading not for profit provider of aged care within New South Wales. We currently have a full-time vacancy for an experienced Recreational Activities Officer at our Beecroft facility, Jamieson House. Jamieson House has single accommodation for 42 people and is a secure facility specialising in dementia care. Residents are encouraged to live as independently as possible within a warm and homely environment. The Recreational Activities Officer provides recreational and leisure activities in the Hostel environment. Leisure and recreational activities are designed to include a holistic approach to meet the specific needs and interests of the person and to promote a sense of well-being. Essential:
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health;
- Previous experience with ACFI documentation;
- Eligible for Level 2 DTAA membership;
- Current First Aid Certificate;
- Previous experience in an Aged Care environment;
- Awareness of accreditation guidelines.
